Personal Experience & Biography
Sophie joined McCarthy Duffy LLP as an Associate in September 2024. Sophie assists clients of all sizes on a variety of corporate matters including business entity formation, distribution and licensing agreements, financing, intellectual property protection, and governance.
Sophie earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law where Sophie was a member of the Dean’s List and earned her Tax Law Certificate. During law school, Sophie worked at a boutique family law firm, was involved with the Federal Tax Clinic as a Student Clinician and volunteered as a Street Law instructor at Mathers High School.
